We are looking for a Client Services Professional who understands the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Industry, as well as trade promotions and distributor/retailer deductions.
Adesso’s software and services help Consumer Packaged Goods Manufacturers manage trade spending to make better business decisions and reduce deductions from distributors and retailers. There’s a huge need, and we are unique to the industry. Our software is a standard SaaS in the cloud solution, with multiple release upgrades each year, with a focus on growth in both the traditional retail segment, as well as the smaller Natural-Specialty market. A key difference is our proactive approach to our client’s success through value added services & training to lead clients through the Journey toward improved Trade Promotion Effectiveness (TPE).
Therefore, we are looking for a manager of client effectiveness who will act as the primary client liaison to manage the relationships with the existing client base. The ideal candidate will have experience in account management, trade management and/or sales, and have a proven track record for successfully achieving objectives. In addition, experience within the North American CPG industry is a requirement. You will need to understand the unique components and processes of dealing with trade promotion management and TPM software, in order to successfully drive Client Effectiveness in TPE by developing, setting & executing disciplined, progressive and profitable objectives by client for new client setups and ongoing release upgrades.
These client setups are based upon a well-defined process, however, each one is somewhat different based on their maturation in trade spending, tenure in the organization and other areas. Learning a complex trade system will be an initial and ongoing process.
Other facets of the position could involve client training and responding to functional support questions.
The successful candidate will be intelligent, logical, focused, hardworking, able to manage by objectives, and a sponge for knowledge. You will need to have significant focus on highly effective project management to ensure all setups result in evangelical clients for Adesso Solutions. You will also have a total command of technology, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), and the ability to learn/utilize CRM (i.e. Salesforce.com) and other solutions. Training is an ongoing process at Adesso, with an exciting growing curriculum in our training program, AdessoU, which aims to assist the client and broker partner community in leveraging Adesso’s Flamingo TPM system & services to achieve best practices in trade promotion management (TPM) through ongoing and consistent training opportunities through a variety of media. Therefore, we have the need for a Senior Manager to own and grow, as well as execute our training program in our Client Effectiveness Department.
The ideal candidate is a CPG Professional who can train, and who has significant experience within the CPG industry, and is intimately knowledgeable with trade promotions and distributor/retailer deductions. This senior manager will provide training and training program management for a TPM system across close to 50 CPG manufacturers. We also need you to be driven and results oriented to drive a fun and exciting training program that is second to none in the industry.
