Trade Promotion Spending Expected to Increase in 2009 Says Consumer Goods Technology Survey –Adesso Delivers Much Needed Analytics to

Rolling Meadows, IL., August 31, 2009— While only 52 percent of companies in 2008 evaluated trade spending, more and more companies are attempting to implement trade promotion management (TPM) applications to improve TPM analysis in 2009. This finding, released in The Sales and Marketing Report* survey, (06.09), by Consumer Goods Technology (CGT) and AMR Research, also shares the frustrations of Consumer Goods (CG) companies to find the right TPM solution for their needs. The study revealed that while the average CG company has taken on three TPM projects in the last five years, they aim to increase their spending on TPM to understand how to best leverage trade funds to drive a definitive ROI.
Clearly, Adesso’s solution has hit a chord for these companies and proudly announces the signing of six new clients since the second quarter of 2009.
